The course is a 10 days residential training programme. It provides
practical skills in managing child health and development programmes. This is divided into
the following three modules:

The participants will have a few
field visits during this 10-day course. This will provide them an opportunity for applying
skills they have learnt in the classroom to actual field situations.
Faculty
Experienced residential faculty and
the field staff of IHMP will serve as faculty for the course. The field staff will be
available for practical and training.
Trainees
Criteria for selection are:
~ Graduates
~ 2-3 years experience in child health
~ Knowledge of Hindi
Course Fees
The total cost on one trainee on
hostel accommodation, food, course materials and tuition fees works out to Rs.5000/- per
trainee. The institute provides a 50% subsidy to all NGO participants. The participants or
their organisation have to pay Rs.2500/- towards course fees, in addition to their travel
to Pachod and back. The limited number of scholarships of Rs.1000/- per participant are
available for deserving NGOs.
